Handcrafted metal work and blacksmithing

ABOUT

Bringing people’s ideas to life through both contemporary and traditional blacksmithing is my passion and I would welcome the opportunity to do the same for you: large or small, iron or copper, fashioned or fabricated.

This passion began for me in the 1990s when I was gifted a blacksmithing summer school place at West Dean College, West Sussex. I continued my training at West Dean, with further courses in both traditional and contemporary blacksmithing styles – both of which you will see in evidence throughout my work today.

I’ve now built my own forge as well as continuing to develop my art with materials from organisations such as the Rural Development Commission and ‘The Blacksmith’s Craft’.  My diverse commissions have included handrails for a castle in Ireland, balustrades, a wide range of fireplace accessories and a contemporary striking vase stand.

Whatever your commission, I’d be delighted to discuss it with you and look forward to bringing it to life.  Don’t hesitate to get in touch.
