This hand raised copper bowl was originally inspired by artist John Smith-Jones.
The bowl began as a flat sheet of copper (from an immersion tank) and hand raised to form the bowl shape, before further edging to close the top. The outside has a verdigris patination and has been sealed. The interior has been delicately finished in 24ct gold leaf.
As the light bounces the gold shines!
As the gold used is pure, to remain the perfect finish we suggest this is used as a decorative/display piece only.
